On September 26, amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, will present the seventh annual amfAR Milano in conjunction with Milan Fashion Week. The Italian fashion community has long been exemplary in its support of amfAR, with its fashion houses and designers leading many of the Foundation’s most successful fundraising efforts. To date, amfAR Milano has raised more than $7 million for amfAR’s lifesaving research.

Like all amfAR events, amfAR Milano will draw an exciting and diverse range of distinguished guests, including many of the celebrities, personalities, and designers associated with Milan Fashion Week, as well as famous names from the worlds of music, business, art, and international society. In recent years, amfAR has paid tribute to Remo Ruffini of Moncler and Franca Sozzani of Italian Vogue for each of their outstanding personal commitments to the fight against AIDS. Past events have been chaired by amfAR Global Fundraising Chairman Sharon Stone, Heidi Klum, Janet Jackson, Juliette Lewis, Rosario Dawson, Jeremy Piven, and Diane von Furstenberg, among many others.
